:: Our Aims
The aims of the Federation is to:
  • Promote and support the work of our members;
  • Raise awareness and foster a greater appreciation of the work undertaken by our members;
  • Represent and advance our members’ interests;
  • Facilitate and assist the establishment of Cemetery Friends’ groups;
  • Organise National conferences;
  • Provide a web forum for discussion;
  • Foster relations and exchanges with overseas bodies; and
  • To do all such other things as are conducive or incidental to the attainment of the above purposes or any of them.

Joining fee - $10

Annual subscription fees:

Cemetery Friend groups - $15
Corporate/organisations - $20
Individuals - $15
Individuals (members of affiliated groups) - $10

About Us

Formed in December 2008, the Australian Federation of Cemetery Friends (AFOCF) Inc. comprises Cemetery Friends' groups, historical societies and individuals who all share a common interest in the history, preservation, restoration and promotion of cemeteries and burial grounds around Australia.

The Federation is a not-for-profit incorporated association affiliated with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria Inc. and are also members of the National Federation of Cemetery Friends (UK).

Joining

We welcome new members who have an interest in the aims of the Australian Federation of Cemetery Friends Inc.
